University Planned for Alanya/Mahmutlar   2010-02-14

A programme for change currently being pursued will establish Alanya/Mahmutlar as one of Turkeys major centres. Plans include the extension of Alanya to Mahmutlar, establishing city status, provided new business, goverment offices, a new university and associated support structures etc. The programme will follow on from the opening of the airport and the provision of major intrastructural projects i.e. the new dam, new road projects, harbour works etc.
